Since our next cruise hits Key West, I was curious if I could carry on bags of soft plastics bought at one of the many tackle shops their. I know anything with a hook is out, so picking up any really cool flies would be out which is a bummer.
The reason I am asking is a lot of saltwater stuff works well inland, but is not available in the midwest, so I thought since I was there and we are just planning to walk around, why not hit some tackle shops
Here is DCLs policy which makes me believe that soft plastics would be ok because they aren't dangerous due to no hooks.
*Potentially dangerous sporting equipment, including baseball and cricket bats, hockey and lacrosse sticks, pool cues, ski poles, fishing gear and archery equipment. (Golf clubs are permitted as long as they are stored inside your stateroom.)
