Just wondering how you felt about your kids "potty ability" leading up to the cruise? What I mean is - DS is going to be turning 3 the day before we sail. We are working on the potty training right now and making pretty good headway, but there is no way he is "independant" right now. I have to do the clean up and help him get his drawers back in place. I am hoping he will be a bit further along in 3 mos, but I'm not sure.

Also, if your kids were doing pretty well - did they also do OK at night? I would love to leave DS to watch a movie in the Club while DH and I went to have a drink or something, but I can't imagine him on the mats without at least a pull-up. Did anyone leave a pull up on for the later evening? I have a feeling this would be a no-no, but I was just wondering.....I wouldn't be expecting the CMs to change him or anything, just as a precaution incase he falls asleep.

Either way, if he is not ready by the time we sail, that will be fine too....I just wanted to get some feedback from others.

If you are concerned you could use flounders reef where they would change him instead of the clubs. At 3 he might be a little bored at flounders though, my daughter was 2 3/4 and she did not like flounders, said they had baby toys there but some kids really like it.

I would think if you're dropping him at night to watch a movie, having him in a pull-up would be fine. They do regular potty-breaks where they take all the kids but I think once the movies start, that ends. You could also have him in his pjs at this point too.

I also think you're allowed to bring him during the day in his pull-up and as long as he doesn't have an accident, he's fine. If he does have one they then might ask you to book Flounders time if you want to leave him.
