Question for our London friends

My folks will be in London in May. My mom is keeping my kids starting Thursday night while my husband and I go on our 10th anniversary trip for the weekend. Thursday is her big birthday! I want to surprise them by getting tickets to a play/musical in London (if possible). What shows are playing, where can I get info, and can tickets be sent to a hotel to wait for them?
