Question for Mac Users

I just got a new macbook, this is my first time using Safari. Its been five days since i got this laptop and safari is loading pages rather slowish. Has anyone used TinkerTool to speed things up?
Should I switch to Firefox?

safari always works perfectly fine for me, but my boyfriend HATES it, he refuses to use it, he uses firefox.
maybe it just ddepends on your internet connection?

but from what i've heard firefox is great.

Safari works fine. I prefer it when I'm DISing haha.

My safari works great. Firefox is slow for me. I'd suggest just trying different browsers out to find which is fastest.
