We just booked on the wonder for a B2B combo in 2018 that is going to run us about 800 more than the similar B2B combo we took on the Magic this year. We also quickly priced out some other lines and came to the following cost per day per person, there would be 3 of us.

DCL after discounts

Fantasy = 170$

Wonder = 130$

RCCL and NCL 80-110$

As repeat cruisers, what we are seeing is the same islands from DCL at a premium, and while we still love the experience, we will be 3 adults cruising together now. I am so torn, on this right now. Part of me wants to just suck it up and go for it and keep getting a placeholder so that we can get on the new ships discounted to complete the 6-PackJ.

For sure we are to keep the booking for now, and see how we like our first cruise on another line, nervous and excited about this, and decide from there. Any thoughts or opinions would be good, not looking for it is DCL or bust answers, but more from those that have done a lot of DCL cruises and supplemented with other lines for various reasons.
