Question For DL Vets: Concerning Fantasmic

If you've read my other posts, you know that I really wanted to do the Fantasmic dessert buffet. I found out that Fantasmic isn't offered on weekdays, which is when we would be there. The park doesn't close until 11pm those nights though. I know at WDW that they often add parades, etc., when they have later hours. Does DL ever add Fantasmic to the schedule at the last minute? I really don't understand why they wouldn't offer it on weekdays that should be busy enough to require an 11pm closing time. I guess I'm really wishing upon a star now. Thanks

While I've seen them add 3rd Fantasmics on nights where they were originally showing 2 because of crowds, I've never heard of them deciding to show it when it's not planned. It's such a big producton that they would need to suddenly call at least 100 people into work who otherwise would not be working (at DL anyway) that day.

When are you going? They do F! on some weekdays...during spring break for example.

Just curious if you checked the schedule online. I know when I called Disney reservations to see when I could call to book for the F! balcolny for my trip in April the CM tried to convince me that there was no F! on 4/12. I had to ask her twice to double check and then she did finally see that yes there are two showings scheduled for that night.
