Howdy All, our trip is in June thinking of getting one AP for the discounts (I'm sure it'll pay for itself) however don't think we'll be able to use it again within the year...Should I buy it now to gain access to the Disneyland AP holder part of the their website or just wait until we go in June? Is the info in that part of the website that useful to have in advance? Thank You!

I never found the info in that section to be all that helpful. People tend to post the really cool things, like recipes and such. :)

And while some people have been able to use the voucher (I assume you'd order it from disneyland.com?) to use on the website, when I bought a voucher online, the number on it was entirely different from the barcode I ended up getting on my pass, so it wouldn't have worked.

I was able to enter the voucher barcode number into the AP area to gain access before we went (this was in December). Then when we got home when I went into the AP area, I just updated my details and you can change the AP number that you have recorded, so I then put in the barcode from the AP card. It worked easily and just last month, so you can definately do it!

Bumbershoot, so yes the barcode that you enter initially from the voucher is different to the barcode on your AP, but once you have your AP, you just go into the AP area and change the barcode number that you have registered to the barcode on your AP, so it does work :goodvibes

The only thing useful on there are hotel prices if they have special AP rates. But you can always just call and get them, or have someone look them up for you.

Side note: HOJOs offers AP discounts too. And now they have the ET rates for AP holders on select dates.

Our first AP's were purchased for X-mas and we used the # to sign up for AP on Disneys site, but didnt actually redeem the AP's until March. So we had 3 months of Disney website access.
Your AP's will not expire until a year after the first day you use them. :)
hope that helps... have a great time in June!

So, if we upgrade on the last day of our parkhoppers, the APs won't expire until a year after our next trip?
