Question concerning Tony's restaurant at MK

Is it dining only by reservation or can you walk up and request a seat? In the past I have walked up and gotten a seat but last time I was there back in Janurary they said it was reservation only at that time. I'm not sure if they do that based on the time of year, etc. I'm heading back this Friday and would like to eat there and I'm wondering if I can just walk on up and request a table without reservations. I have tried to make them online but everything is full (except for 12:20pm on a Saturday but we'll be at Epcot that day!).

Also, has anyone tried the other restaurant that is similiar (Lady and the Tramp theme) that is located at Disney Hollywood?

DH and I did a walk up while we were there in March. We had gone earlier, around lunch time, and asked and was told to come back at opening for dinner thats when they do their walk ups. If you try later they said there was a chance we could be turned away. So we came back a few minutes before they officially opened and in 5 minutes we were seated.

If you want to eat there it is best to have a reservation. Program the Disney Dining number onto your phone and then you can always call. A lot of people are using the Dining Plan and the reservations can get pretty booked up.

We plan on making an appearance at the MK Friday evening before they close. We'll walk up and see if they have a table available. If not, that's cool too. We can always go somewhere else.
