Question concerning Bibbidi Bobbidi, CRT vs. 1900 Park Fare, and MNSSHP!?!?

Ok - so I have a question for those who have "been there, done that" concerning princesses, bibbidi bobbidi, etc.

We are going to MNSSHP on Oct. 31st.
THat day is also our day in Magic Kingdom - we are going on a 5 day trip - so about one day per park, I figure we should start with MK because that is what the kids (ages 3 and 5) will be most excited for.

Right now I have a Bibbidi appointment for my daughter (5) at 9:00 am and lunch at CRT at 11:45 for her, me, and the grandmas (boys will eat quick service somewhere.

My other idea is to try to move the Bibbidi appointment to the afternoon - we would probably go back to the hotel mid-afternoon to let the 3 year old nap and then the 5 year old and I could go to the boutique and get her done - then have everyone go to 1900 Park Fare for the CInderella dinner instead at about 5 pm then head over to MK again for the halloween party.

Any opinions on these options? At first, I thought getting the whole princess transformation done in the morning would be best, but now I'm starting to wonder if we should just enjoy the park for the day and then do the whole costume thing later?

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated! I would like to change my ressies asap if I need to!

THanks!

Anyone?
I could really use some other opinions b/c my husband basically has no opinion and he's my only help at this point!

MNSSHP is a late night, especially with little ones such as yours. A full park day plus getting to and from a resort dinner may be a bit much and could cut into your time at the party. Here's what I would do:

Sleep in, maybe swim a little. Get a lunchtime BBB appointment, then enjoy the park in the afternoon. I'd try to get an early dinner CRT ADR, like say around 4 or so, so you won't waste any party time on dinner.

You should be done with dinner around 5 and have some time for a few rides before getting in line for the princesses or 7 dwarfs.

Just my opinion, hope this helps!

I agree with Missy, it will be a late night and you should let the little one rest in the afternoon if that will make the party more enjoyable.

However, I would not do a TS meal out of the park at 5pm on a party night, that is cutting it too close imo.

You can get into MK with just your party ticket at 4pm, so what we do is have our TS at lunch, rest in the afternoon, get to MK around 4 and have a CS dinner. That way we can be in line for whatever special photo op we want at around 6pm.

Hope that helps!

I think you're trying to cram too much in with the second plan. The party lets you "hop" on a day when you wouldn't otherwise be able to, so I would take advantage of that option if you don't have hoppers. I would put 1900 Park Fare on a different night princess-less. That way you can arrive at the party early, and potentially leave before it gets too late.

Overall, I like the Halloween party plan better, because it's something everyone can enjoy, whereas BBB and CRT are mostly for your daughter, but I think you'll be in a rush to get to the party after 1900 Park Fare, and then you may run into late night issues with your kids being as young as they are.

I agree with PPs that this is too much to attempt in one day with little ones. I also agree with the idea of hopping to another park, or going to MK for just the early morning (we like to to get in at rope drop, enjoy the rides w/o crowds, eat lunch at 11:30 and be out by 12 for a swim and afternoon nap!). The afternoon rest is key to being able to really enjoy the party because it is great to be able to be in the park late to soak up the atmosphere, get in the rides you want and of course see the parade and fireworks and trick or treat. If you want BBB as part of your daughter's Halloween costume I would try to book it for around 4:30 - 5 pm, then grab CS for dinner and start enjoying the festivities!

Thank you everyone! This has been very helpful! Now, I just have to do a little rearranging! :)

I would make BBB earlier than this if possible, there have been lots of reports of how backed up they get on party days. Getting into the chair a half-hour or an hour late hasn't been out of the ordinary. I just don't want the rest of your family itching to start the party while she's still being made into a princess.

Again, thank you to everyone for the help! I rebooked/rearranged some stuff and this is now what I have for our trip:

Tuesday 10/30 - arrive in the afternoon - dinner at T Rex 6 pm

Wednesday 10/31 - Breakfast at hotel
Magic Kingdom for the morning
Lunch at 12:00 - Liberty Tree Tavern
Back to hotel to rest/swim
DD's appointment at BBB 3:40 (it was either this or 5:00)
MNSSHP after appointment, etc.

THursday 11/1 Breakfast at hotel
Hollywood studios
back to hotel
Dinner at 50s Prime Time Cafe at 5:45

Friday 11/2 Cape May Character Breakfast 8:35 am
(we're staying at BC so it's not far to go)
Animal Kingdom in the morning
Back to hotel
Epcot in afternoon
Dinner - Akershus 6:25 pm (this gets princesses in without CRT)

Saturday Open day - revisit what we want, spend time at pool
Dinner - Teppen Edo 5:45 pm

Sunday leave

It looks much better to me, now!
THanks again for the help!
