We leave in the morning, so I greatly appreciate anyone who can get back to me. :)

We requested loop 100 but when I called the front desk, they said it wasn't going to happen. Nor loop 200. Not even 300. She couldn't tell me where, for whatever reason. :confused3

So if we payed for preferred, do this mean we automatically get a preferred loop, or might they upgrade us to premium? I ask because the next preferred loops are 1600 +. Since we wanted to be as close as possible to the marina, this is pretty far.

Anyone have any guesses? Thank you! I'm not stressed, but I am kind of frustrated.

Thanks again! :hippie:

As far as I know it will stay within the same category, and will not be upgraded for free.
I am sure others will know more about this than me.
But that is what I have been told.

I'm not sure, either. This is our concern for next year. Good luck with your campsite, and let us know what happens. :)

I don't understand how 100 and 1600 can be considered in the same category, even if 1600 gets cable. There is no way I would pay the same a night for 1600 as for 100. They really need to bring back the full hookup site. Preferred at other resorts usually means prime location. Premium sites are big for big rigs. 1600-1900 needs to be reclassified to reflect the cable, but not in the same category as preferred due to the NON prime location. They should definitely cost less than 100-300.

One more thought, I wonder if the person coming up with the classifications has ever camped or even been to FW.

I totally agree. I don't think there are any "regular" loops left, it seems. I can't believe they're going to boot us to 1600 or further when we paid the Preferred price. When we booked in May I could have paid just regular price and probably have gotten the same loops. :sad2:

Loops 400, 500, and 700 are still considered preferred sites aren't they? They haven't been made premium yet, right? Just curious because we have a preferred site booked in 2 weeks with a request for 100 or 200 too.

There are no Premium Loops yet. If they say 100, 200, 300 is full, then you'll probably be in 400 - 800 or 1400

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You've made me feel soooo much better! I was checking Allears and I was probably reading about the updates and not the current situation. :worship:

Ok, I need to stop obsessing and get to finishing last-minute details.

Will be back with pics soon :surfweb:
