Question Answered - MS Is Closed Today

MS is closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

As had been mentioned in another post, MS was listed as being closed today in the "Vacation Planner". I was surprised so many people were still wondering. Has anyone ever known them to do something different than what is in the planner?

Pam, I too forgot that they'd be closed today. I guess I was too excited thinking about making my PS arrangements.

Me too - I'm Canadian so we don't have MLK day so I forgot they'd be closed. I planned to be at home at 9:00 to book our next trip. Oops!

I think this is one of those confusing holidays that sneak up on folks. I know some people in my office were confused about whether we'd be open or closed. I think there was confusion here too because someone mentioned that their guide would be working -- but the guides are seperate from MS. And, as mentioned, folks outside the U.S. are likely to be caught off guard.

It's great that they've started listing the days they're open and closed in the planner. They never did that in the past. It would be nice if they'd put it on the website as well.

As a side note for those planning to call tomorrow ... please remember that the first three months of the calendar year are the busiest for Member Services. Plus Mondays are the busiest days of the week, so tomorrow will probably be busy!
