Question again about Magic Bands and Resorts

We have a trip planned for May. Our original reservation was hotel only with tickets purchased separately with the resort being Coronado Springs. I have ordered our Magic Bands. This week we decided to upgrade to the Grand Floridian. By doing so, it gave me a new reservation number which I had to link to My Disney Experience. Once I did that, it gave us the choice to order Magic Bands again. The bands I ordered show as active. Is there anything I need to do to have them linked with my new reservation or will that just automatically happen?
