Question abt MP3 players

I don't know anything about MP3's or IPODs so I just want to know if a 1GB MP3 player for just under $30 (including shipping) is a good price.
It also records voice for meetings or whatever. I don't know if that's a normal function on MP3s or not.

That seems like a good price (almost too good to be true), but I would check the reviews on it (try Amazon for reviews) because some mp3s work great and others are just a piece of junk.

Also, an mp3 that has a flash drive is preferable over one with a hard drive since the flash drive doesn't have any moving parts that can get broken if the mp3 is dropped.

Thanks, Amazon didn't have any reviews of this one but it was selling on Geeks and there are some reviews on them and several are not good reviews. I tried finding reviews on this MP3 player from other sites but couldn't find any so I think I'll hold off on buying it. I never heard of this one ... Mambo... but I get a computer tips email daily and they sell a lot of things and today they are selling this item but I found it cheaper at Geeks. I just don't know anything about them so don't know if this is any good or not.

I ordered this sandisk MP3 player 2GB. I figured i'd never get a 2GB refurbished nano.
A coworker has this same MP3 player only a 4GB and it is really nice. Staples has the 2GB for $119.00 with a $20 rebate making it cost $99 & free shipping. It ships in 4 business days. There are a lot of good reviews on this one also. Just scroll down to read reviews. Plus you can get a kit & change the battery yourself for about $15. The ipods you have to send back to apple to have the battery changed. I did get 2 refurbished shuffles last month & have been using one at work everyday, So far i love it. The sandisk MP3 player is a gift for my grandson (14) for christmas.

NOTE: not compatible with mac.
