I know it's usually closed, but are things like Body Works and Cranium Command still open at this pavillion? We've honestly never even ambled our way over there, but we're thinking about it for our trip.

Thanks for info.

I could be wrong, but I think they are only open at the absolute peak times. For some reason I have the idea I read this was going to be replaced with something else at some point.

Really, if they've gone to all the trouble of building an attraction, I can't understand why it wouldn't be open all the time.

As I understand it, the whole thing is permanently closed. I will tell you that we got to see it last December and while I'm glad we got to (have a thing for seeing EVERYTHING at WDW ;) ) it was pretty outdated and lame. I read on another thread that Wonders of Life will not be open this holiday season.

I think they should either open it back up already or just hurry up and build something.

The whole pavilion hasn't been open for quite a while. I doubt you will see it reopen.

I just got the 2007 Birnbaum book and it is still listed there as seasonal...

I think it's been seasonal for the last 5 years... :rolleyes1

Wonders of Life is basically permanently closed now ~ MetLife pulled out as sponsor ages ago and Disney hasn't come up with a new one yet.

Have not found it open the last 3 years.

OK, just to stir the rumor pot:

Despite the "Open Seasonally" listings, I find that WoL is NEVER open (even when TT was down for an extended period for refurb and that "side" of Epcot needed another open attraction... WoL was NOT open.)

BUT... I copied and saved this DISboards post from a couple of months ago and re-post it below FWIW.
(For the record, I personally DOUBT it to be true, but time will tell.)

Plans are for the Wonders of Life to be open for 5 weeks this year - beginning Thanksgiving through the end of the year.

I have so many guests tell me how much they miss Wonders. Hope many of you will be down to enjoy it during the holidays.

Best wishes.

The attraction is closed and until there is a new sponsor (as mentioned above) it will remain closed. Sponsors paid the CMs salaries and for the upkeep for each individual pavilion and without a sponsor these expensives can not be paid. The only exception was for Spaceship Earth. When it's sponsor recently pulled out, Disney covered the expensives because they were not that huge and SSE is a main icon. With all of the stuff in the WOL, there are alot of CMs to pay. I still can't believe that a new sponsor has not come forward yet. Usually a sponsor signs on for a set amount of time, like 10 years. SSE recently got a new sponsor, Siemens, so they will most likely have a new exhibit built at the end of the SSE ride. SEE, I did learn something on the 2 EPCOT tours I took. The WOL is probably the most asked question during an EPCOT tour. BTW--I've been to EPCOT during every season (and vacation at WDW 6+ weeks a year in WDW) and have never seen the WOL pav. openned, even though the books say it will open during high season...it doesn't.

It was open last year in mid December, and almost empty. The food area is gone (but the chairs are there). But we saw Body Wars and Cranium Command, and all of the little things to do were there. We loved it because it wasn't crowded!

But based on the listing on the Disney site, it sounds like it won't be open this year at all.

Considering the huge amount that comes into Epcot every day in ticket revenue, it doesn't seem like it would cost that much additional to open this pavilion. Maybe Body Wars, since it's a motion ride as I recall, but the rest are just movies or hands-on stuff.
