Question about what time we should leave HS...

Next Monday night we have dinner reservations at Ohana for 8:05. This is the first time we have ever made ADR at a restaurant that's not in a park... My question is, what time should we plan on leaving HS that night to catch the bus to the Polynesian resort to best maximize our time at the park but also not be late? Thanks for any help...

By the way, by 8, I bet Ohana will be 30 minutes behind. You might consider a nice snack around 5:30 (unless you're really used to 8:30 dinner time).

Thanks for the tip, I’m all about a snack. We ditched the Mama Melrose’s reservation and added the Ohana reservation last night... never been before but most folks seem to enjoy it from reviews.

You made a great choice - I love it! And it's much more enjoyable if no one's hangry.

I agree arriving at the bus stop 1 hour before your ADR time should be safe. Having stayed at the Poly and GF this past year, I will admit the bus ride from HS was the longest I had ever waited for both trips. Must have just missed a bus both times. It took almost 35 minutes for it to show up in May. We saw Wilderness Lodge/Contemporary stop, fill up, and leave 2x before 1 of ours came.

Poly is also the first stop so no delays at another resort prior to your arrival. Enjoy 'Ohana, its one of our favorite meals. We do it every trip!
