Question about WDW Hilton and EMH

We are staying one night at the Hilton. On our check-out day can we still take advantage of the evening EMH? TIA!

If you are checking into a Disney World resort your room key will have the dates of your stay.. example 4/10/08 - 4/17/08. (is valid until end of day)

So as long as it is within that time frame you will be fine. You just show your resort id to get in or for a wrist band.

Well, I think it answers my question. Does the Hilton give you a room key like the Disney Key to the World? Does anyone know why the Swan/Dolphin are considered Disney hotels by this message board, but the Hilton is not? Is it that the Swan/Dolphin are on Disney property and the Hilton is not? My question was moved off the Disney resort section and put here on Orlando Hotels and Attractions. I feel like I'm some sort of dirt bag!

Sorry, I misunderstood you....

Hilton is not affiliated with Disney and does not offer Extra Magic hours nor do they offer Disney transportation. The hotel may have their own transportation.

For some reason I thought you were staying at a Disney property then checking out and checking into the Hilton for 1 night.

It's on the Hilton's website. They do offer EMH. I think they are the only hotel off-site to do this.

I think it's confusing because the Hilton is the ONLY DTD hotel that offers EMH.

Technically, the Hilton - along with the other properties located in Hotel Plaza - actually is located on Disney property. Some years ago, it was also serviced by the same Disney bus transportation which today operates to/from Disney's own hotels.

Essentially, the difference is that the Swan and Dolphin largely function as Disney resorts (with a few notable exceptions), including Disney bus and boat transportation. The Hotel Plaza establishments - including the Hilton - operate more independently, and have their own (contracted) bus transportation to and from the parks.

Within Hotel Plaza, the Hilton offers access to EMH, which you should be able to use through the end of the day you check-out of the Hilton.
