Question about vmk cards, stitch from disneyland travel package?

Cards15, 16 and 17 of 30, series 2....

Why are these such a big deal, I see people claim they are discontinued, I am not sure if they are retired. And if they are retired what that even means. I do understand the very basic that each card/code gives you something on vmk.com for their vitrual disney world.

Anyway, care to enlighten me?

The Disney Travel Co. gave out the stitch cards as a bonus for booking a trip to Disneyland online. They stopped the promotion at the end of May .. so yes those cards are now pretty rare.

Yes the card is still usuable on line. Discontinued means that they are no longer passing the cards out. Stitch is good until Sept 07 I believe, but they seem to still be good past the expiration date too.

the codes tend to work much later than printed, but typically no guarantee.

The reason stitch was so rare in addition to what poohluv2u said is only 1 set of cards went per booking of a dlr vacation. So if you have 2 people in your family... you better put your boxing gloves on!!
