We will be taking a trip in May to WDW with about 30 people. We will be doing a TS with the majority of those people. I understand that you can only get the discount on yourself plus 9 others, but how does this work if your party is larger? Will they still be able to apply the discount to 10 of the meals on the bill or will they not allow you to use it since there are more than 10 people on the bill?

We traveled with a large group a few years ago. My husband and I each had a card and had no problem getting the discount for all of us. I believe the most we had was 16 people for one meal but maybe because we had 2 cards it was OK.

If you have 2 cards they will let you split the bill and do up to 10 for each of the groups. We won't be using it enough to justify my wife getting one however, so I just want to get the discount off of the 10 people.

If you have kids with you I would pay full price for their meals as they would be cheaper.

They will apply the discount to 10 persons' orders and there will be a separate non-discounted bill for the rest.

We were married in Disney in November of 2008. We purchased the TIW card. We used the card at least twice for large parties and they took it both times for all the people in our party. We ate one night at 'Ohana with 16 people and they took the discount off for everyone. We also ate breakfast at the Cape May Cafe with 22 people and they took the discount off for everyone. We never asked them to do this either time and we only had one card. I am sure this is not a common thing but we were very happy they did this.

How does this work for the "prepaid" ADR's, like CRT?

We're considering dinner at CRT (15 total, 9 adults, 5 children and one infant) and we'll have 1 TIW card. I was thinking that we'd put the 9 adults and one child on one bill, using the card, and then pay full price for the other 4 children. How do they handle this when you have to pre-pay, in full, in advance?

On a similar note, although we would like to sit together at our group meals, we understand that we may be split up. My parents are picking up the tab(s) for everyone so how would it work if we are at 2-3 different tables? We'd want to split the bill by 10 people on the TIW bill and the rest at full price.

It's nice that they did that, but it shouldn't be expected.

I don't know, but I thought TIW didn't work at CRT because I thought it was a package. I see now that CRT does give a discount. This could definitely be a good deal since tax and gratuity are included in the price. I wouldn't think they would separate them just for the sake of TIW so I would think you would get 20% off the whole package.

Anyone ever done this that can confirm?

Last December we got the TIW discount on the food portion of the CRT package, but not on the photo so it's less than 20%.
