Question about using QSDP credits

I understand that the QS plan now includes 2 meals and 2 snacks per day, no dessert. Does the meal include appetizer and drink? For example, we have a reservation for BOG lunch. If we order soup or salad with the meal, do we have to use a snack credit or is this included? As for dessert, can we pay OOP for this without using snack credits if we get the cupcakes or something? I don't have a problem paying for these extra items, I just want to save a lot of the snack credits for F&W! Thank you.

Oh, and if we preorder for BOG, can we just tell them when we check in that we'll be paying OOP for dessert,etc.

QS meals on the dining plan include ONLY an entree and a drink. Nothing else. You must use a snack credit or OOP for soup/salad/desserts.

Yes, it would almost certainly be paid OOP. We did lunch at BOG recently, and my DD wanted French fries. So we added them to the pre-order. When she got there and wanted to use a snack credit for them, she was told that she would have to pay OOP. The French fries do count as a snack credit, but she was told she wasn't allowed to use one because it was a pre-order or something like that.
