Question about Upgrading MYW Ticket to AP

Just wondering about upgrading MYW tickets to AP. When you do the upgrade, is the AP automatically activated on that day? Or can you get a voucher and activate it at a later date?

Here's my situation. I am going for a weekend trip. Getting 2 day park hoppers. On the end of the second day, if I upgrade to an AP, will the AP good for one year from that date, or one year from the first day I use the actual AP to get into the parks?

Actually, I think the AP will expire one year from the first day you used the two-day pass to enter a park.

Kaytie is right. The AP will not only be activated but it will be backdated to the first day you used the original ticket.
