Question about trading points into Interval

Hi all, we just closed on some new direct points and we banked the 2022 points since we already have 2 trips planned and I was going to try to rent them in 2023. Honestly, judging by other people's posts and the Rent/Trade activity, it seems unlikely that they're going to get rented any time soon.

How does it work when you trade them to Interval International? Do the points last beyond what they would in DVC? I have a March use year, so these banked points would expire 2/28/24 with DVC. I won't be taking any trips until summer 2024, so it won't work unfortunately

Hello, I just saw your post and I’m curious. I am an Interval member but have never seen Disney Resorts offered. It it through travel, hotel, or exchange. ?

DVC has moved back and forth between RCI and Interval several times over the years. Late in 2021, they announced they were leaving RCI to once again return to Interval. There was a pump-priming deposit of SSR 1BRs exchanges with check-in dates of more or less every Friday for three or four months starting mid-2022. Since then, deposits that have made it past ongoing searches have been sporadic. Trade power required is relatively high.

This is all exchange activity. No getaways/rentals.
