I recently read somewhere that "availability is limited" to adding a dining plan to a ticketless AP package.
Is this really true or is it simply a marketing line used to provide a false sense of urgency to someone sitting on the fence as to whether they should add dining (as opposed to TIW, etc.) when booking a ticketless AP package?
My experience with the dining plans (at least with a regular, non-AP, ticketed package) is that Disney is more than willing to sell them to you every day of the week and twice on Sunday (they make a lot of money on those darned things). So why would they limit their availability on a ticketless AP package?
Has anyone tried to book a ticketless AP package (on a discount or otherwise) and tried to add a dining plan, only to be told, "sorry there are no more dining plans available on a ticketless AP package at your resort and room category on your dates, but if you were to upgrade to a more expensive resort or room category . . . ?"
