Question about the Towers in RPR

What are the difference between the 3 Towers in RPR? I've been hearing about it but didn't know the difference.

Room wise, the towers are the same except the club level is on the top floor of tower #3. All of the towers are off the lobby. I prefer tower #1 for two reasons:

1) a standard view room in tower #1 does not have the "freeway view" like tower # 3, tower #1 standard views overlook the parks. You will hear the Hulk running so don't book it if the sound bothers you - I like it, its sort of our wake up call when they test it in the morning.

2) You can take the stairs down from the end of tower #1 and eliminate a good distance if walking to the parks.

So Tower 1 is a good tower to request. I did hear something about pets being in one of the towers. Which tower is that? I think we would have to avoid it since my husband is allergic to all cats and most dogs.

We stayed at the RPR last week in tower 2 and it had no dogs or cats and believe that is tower 3 and know how your husband feels I have allergies to dogs and had no troubles in tower 2

2 years ago i stayed at rph tower 1.

my original request was for tower 3 but the front end manager told me i would enjoy tower 1 more.

at the time i stayed there, he said the hotel was having complaints about the noise in tower 3

i'm sure where ever you stay, you will be fine and have a great time

I hope so.

But due to pet allergies, I think we need to request not to be in tower 3.

Tower 2 has always been the pet tower and is the farthest from everything convenient.

Tower 1 offers the best standard views and has the closest path to the parks.

Tower 3 offers the best pool views and is closest to the pool/boat dock.

RPR........I was recently told Tower 2 houses the dogs by the front desk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact, I was also told that if the little pooches are not on best behavior they need to be evicted. If a guest complains about a dark barking, it will be immediately addressed.

I think I will more likely consider staying elsewhere. It appears all Universal onsite resorts allows pet. This is discouraging when you have someone who has pet allergies, who do not want to be bother by it each and everytime they step into the resort.

I have pet allergies and stayed there 2 weeks ago for 7 days and requested tower 1 with no problems. The room was very clean and had no weird odors. In fact we stayed in room 1529 and WOW what a view of the parks. Just like other mentioned that you can hear the Hulk test runs in the early AM but did not bother us.

my special needs son has very SEVERE allergies and has never had a problem at rpr or Portofino Bay. We have stayed numerous times at both resorts. I have never even seen an animal all the times we have stayed at RPR. I have seen a few dogs at PB but they never bothered us. The rooms are exceptionally clean there. We have had to leave several hotels early over the years - Disney included - because of our sons allergies but never at a Universal resort.
