You folks with MYW w/ dining ---

Our family of 4 are staying at the POP during regular season for the same number of nights as my two in-laws. We all having MYW w/dining, but our savings off our packages was exactly the same -- and of course, our original package cost more because of having to buy dining and tickets for 4, which makes me think the discount we got was a room-only discount.

What is the difference in discount of MYW vs MYWw/D? Should there be any? If so, then we should reflect a bigger discount. Not that I'm complaining AT ALL -- $282 we're saving -- $56 off per night. Just want to make sure our TA used the right discount code.

She did. The amount off is strictly based off the room and is not reflected in the cost of the tickets or tickets/dining.

There are actually 2 similar codes out but one includes dining and one doesn't -- are you sure you used the right one?

We saved almost $900 on two rooms at the POP for 8 nights with tickets/dining. The savings on the room with 2 adults was around $300. The rest was on the room with 2 adults and 2 children.

We are also staying at pop. We will be there 10 nights during value with 10 day park hoppers-standard room. We are saving 338.94. I origionally had just the room and ticket package when I called to apply the code and they gave me the savings of 338.94. Later I called back and asked if adding dining would affect my discount she checked availability with the dining and said she could change it to w/dining without affecting the discount so that's what I did. It came out to be no additional discount so I'm pretty sure the discount is on the room portion only whether you have dining or not. She gave me the impression that it wasn't even possible to apply a non dining plan code to a dining plan reservation. When I looked at my new price with her using the code for dining it was my origional discounted package plus the exact amount I figured for the dining plan. I don't know why there is a different code for dining verses no dining if the savings is the same ?? Maybe there are a certain amount set aside for each :confused3

That's about right. Each room for us got $282 savings -- so $504 total, and we're staying 3 nights fewer in each room than you are. 60% of $505 is and extra $300 -- that comes close to the discount you got.
