Question about the pulldown bed

Is the pull down bed like a bunk bed? How high up is it? Does it come with a bed rail? I have never heard anyone mention this as a problem but i want to prepare my 7 year old for a bed high up if this is the case.

Yes, it's like a bunk bed. Yes, it comes with a rail and a ladder. It's probably about 4½ feet (135 cm) off the floor.
