Question about the glow cube/characters

I know a couple of the TS restaurants have the glow cubes that are served in some drinks. I think I read somewhere that they are also availabe in characters, Tink and 1 more i think. Can someone confirm this. My other question is can I buy just the lights without the drinks. My boys are just ages 1 and 2 so i know they will not drink what they come in but they will want the lights. Thank You

Last year we bought drinks for our kids with light up tinker bell and captain hook that were clipped onto the cups. They clipped them to their lanyards after dinner. I don't know if you can buy them without the drinks. I think I remember seeing the light up "ice cubes" at our resort gift shop one year. But again that was two years ago and I don't know if they are still there.

We have a glow cube from one of my *grown-up* drinks, as well as a light up Tink & a light up Lightning McQueen. The Tink & Lightning McQueen clip onto the side of the cup, and if I remember correctly, we did pay for one without the drink, but it wasn't that much less.

FYI, we all loooove my glow cube more, because Tink lights up green, Lightning lights up red, but my glow cube has about 6 different color settings, including one that rotates through all the colors one by one!

(Is it weird that 2 yrs after our trip I still keep in on my bedside table and use it as a night light?? )

When we were there a few weeks ago, it was Tink (green) and Buzz Lightyear (blue).

We were able to substitute apple juice for the drink since DD isn't much of a lemonade drinker (I think it was lemonade).

Also, the cup is re-useable... it makes a great fruit cup!

We have bought the light up drinks i think they call them special punch, although im sure you can get it with juice or a normal drink if you asked! its the Adult Speaciality Ie cocktails, drinks that come with the glow cubes, and the childrens that come with the Tink and another one im sure i have a Pirate?? i think the drink was around $9, I asked if i could but one and they said no but could choose any drink to go with!

We have gotten both. When we got the clips we just asked for different drinks and it was clipped on the straw. We have Tink and Hook but I think know McQueen is available?
I bought my kids the glow cubes last time in their own drink-I just asked for them to be put in their cups and paid the extra. My kids still have theirs and use them occasionally.

Thank you everyone for the responses. It looks like we will be fine to substitute the lemonade for apple juice and there is a character available for boys.

you have to pay OOP for the drinks with the clips but you take them with you. Same with the glowing ice cubes.

OR... if you get a great server like we had at 1900 PF... he will just give them to you! We didn't ask for them he just brought them out to us at the end of our meal!
