Really excited about the Frozen show on the Fantasy. Wondering if anyone has seen it yet? How was it!? Which night did they show it on? We're also trying to get an idea if we might need to change which night to do dinner at Palo. Currently thinking to do Palo dinner on night 3 of the Eastern Merrytime cruise we're on in December.

We saw it on the 8 nighter a few weeks ago. It was on the last night of the cruise but I'm not sure what night would be the normal night to show it since it was the first time they showed it on the Fantasy. I would not recommend sitting on the first couple of rows because some of the action is down low that you will not be able to see and also the fog machine smoke comes out into the audience quite significantly. The fog machine thing could have just been a snafu being the first night and may have been fixed since then.

We disembarked last Saturday, saw it on our sailing. We really enjoyed it, it was the only performanc we bothered with. We were in the third row and I would not want to be any closer than that. T&R is correct, the fog machine works a bit to well. Our sailing was a six night on the Fantasy so I’m not sure which night it will be on going forward.

We saw the premiere of it, and it was on night 8!!!!
It was very well done we thought.
Theater was so crowded, and I'm not sure everyone made it in! Arrive early!!!

I was at the first "offical" showings on the Fantasy. We went to the second showing and had no issues getting seats - we basically walked right in about 10mins before showtime.

My daughter loved it. I found it OK but I'm not a show person. It was like a fast version of the movie. Anna was amazing, Elsa - meh her voice was a bit off.

On our cruise that would be the Star Wars day. I doubt they would show Frozen that day?

We've been on 2 SW cruises. Both times they showed SW movie in place of the show. They will probably do Frozen on another night. We will be on the Fantasy for another SW cruise, Jan 18. Can report back.

Thanks everyone for replies and tips! Wonder if they'll continue with the matinee option. That must be exhausting for the cast.

We're on the Fantasy December 14th-21st.
Sounds like maybe the regular night might be Thursday, but guessing for cruises with Disney PremEARs that they'll change Frozen to another night. They should be PremEARing Episode 9 on our cruise. On previous years Star Wars PremEARs they showed them on the Thursday nights with several showings.

Is anyone on the upcoming Thanksgiving week cruise? With Frozen 2 likely to PremEAR on board on the Thursday night of that week, I'd be very curious to hear which night they bump the Frozen show to.

Typically, DCL offers a matinee on those shows that have a big draw (like a new one), on the sea day that the show actually runs. Once the fervor dies down, they go back to the evening shows only. Also, if there's something else that requires the WDT on a day that matinee MIGHT be done, there won't be one.

Bump. Anyone just off the Fantasy and can share how they handled Frozen 2 PremEAR and the Frozen stage shows?

with Frozen now being a stage show, are they still doing Aladdin? Or did this replace Aladdin?

They still show Aladdin. It replaced one of the other shows, don't remember the name, but it was the one with the 3 friends who are graduating from high school. It may have been called Wishes, but I don't remember, despite seeing it twice.

Ok, thanks.

I think they got rid of Wishes and kept Believe. Ugh.

Yep. Personally, while Wishes was still one of the "not so good new shows" when the Dream class ships joined the fleet, I preferred it over, say, Aladdin. It's rare that Disney acknowledges that there's a Disney presence on the west coast, and those 3 friends were reminiscing about all their trips to DisneyLAND during their growing up years.

Good point! In all the times I have seen that show, probably 6 or 7 till I'd had enough, I never caught that. But now that you say it...….:rolleyes1. I need to start paying more attention.
