Question about the DVC cruise... what's so special about it?

Other than getting to hang out with all of you fine folks what's the advantage of booking the DVC cruise as opposed to the next sailing?

Are there perks? Palo open all day long? Chocolate souflee under your pillow at night?

Please help me decide if I'd rather forego our plans for another spring cruise in order to do the Sept. member one.

goodies - presents on bed everynight when you came in. Atmosphere was wonderful, you were treated like royalty - this was our first time using our points and we really enjoyed it. I think it was worth it!

Can you book the DVC cruise using cash instead of points. I really want to go but have my points committed already. Will they let me pay cash and get the perks since I am a DVC member?
