We just finalized booking our September 2011 Disney trip!! 
To utilize our points the best way, we were able to book Beach Club for 5 nights, then have a 2 night gap, then do AKV Kidani for 7 nights. My question is, what is the best discount for a cash reservation do you think we can get for that 2 night gap (which is a Friday and a Saturday night)? We have currently booked BWV at 40% off rack rate, but haven't really looked into the other options. Are they usually better, worse, or the same discount? We have regular annual passes, and of course are DVC members. I didn't see that Disney released AP discounts yet for September dates yet so I guess my question is what is your past experiences when booking cash reservations? We do want to stay at BWV or something comparable for the 2 nights since we will have another family with us.
