Question about the BCV store, one day i was shopping and the next day gone......

I think this is good news. Sounds like it won't be open for our trip at the end of Feb. let's hope the food is good. :cool1:

Hurricane Hannah's has even been closed during the day at times although perhaps not since BCV opened.

As with anything Disney all is subject to change. The plan as of right now is to be back open by April 1.

There is no plan for a hot grill, there will be a refillable area for beverages and a carry out of prepackaged food. At this time that would include sandwiches and salads.

Again this could all change.

This is good news! I am also one that will be happy if the put in a mug refill station there. I am keeping my fingers crossed it will be open by my Easter visit!

Oh Sammie, you just bursted my bubble! No grill? I like the idea of the drink re-fill, but a grill would be sooo nice! I beleive it was AMcaptured that first reported there was going to be a grill? Where did you both get your information?

I was afraid of that! If you have a chance to speak with him again, can you let him know that a grill would be really nice?

A grill would need much more space, which I am not sure they have in that area. Plus additional help to man it, more insurance, fire codes, etc. There is just a huge difference in putting in a hot grill and putting in an area that can provide beverages and sandwiches and salads.

But I will post if anything changes. The term I was told, was a Grab and Go area with a refill area for drinks.

Yea, I know, but hey I can dream right?

Sure and I agree I think it would be great. I have always thought they needed something similar to Roaring Forks or Captain Cooks. Something more than Beaches and Cream.

But for right now that does not seem to be in the plans.

Grab and go make me think of 7-11 or an airline bistro bag...icky.

I'm picturing dry salads and sandwiches at $7.95.

Guess we will just have to wait and see. I thought maybe it would be similar to what is offered at Captain Cook's minus the prepared to order food. I know Captain Cooks has a nice selection of ready made salads and deli type sandwiches.

The info I was given was very vague, as I think it is still in the development stages. I do know from past job experiences having a hot grill is a major undertaking as far as safety issues go.

Hey Sammie! Do you think the hours will be the same as the store has now 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.? Or will the refillable mug area be available 24 hours?

Thanks!
