I haven't needed to use it before but this next trip I might. We are staying at BW Stovalls. How early before park opening will shuttle take us? We like to be good and early.

I think Stovall's is a completely walkable location. Any particular reason why you want to use ART?

Do the ART buses run 30 minutes after park close? We are staying in walking distance and normally walk to and from. But this trip is just my son and I and I am thinking of taking the ART back to the hotel to avoid walking alone so late after a midnight close. Thanks!

I believe they run 1 hour after park closing.

We stayed at Stovall's last October and found the walk to be not a big deal but I totally understand wanting to save your feet a bit! According to the ART website, there are ART stops in front of BW Pavilions, BW Stovall's, and the Annabella hotel for Bus route #9.

Also according to their website, you cannot buy ART passes on board the bus. If you don't have a pass ahead of time, you have to pay exact fare and they can't give you change, so make sure you have the right amount of cash available.

It's been a few years since we've done ART, but when they say running an hour before park open, that means that is when they begin their routes. Depending on how long the route is and where it starts, the time you actually get to DLR can be a lot closer to opening. Also, if the shuttle is full, you have to wait for the next scheduled one. So just something to keep in mind.

I would walk in the morning if I were you. You can walk nearly a straight shot down Disneyland Drive and walk through DTD. It's about a 9 minute walk (1/2 mile) from your hotel to the DTD entrance. I believe that the parking lot across the street from your hotel is for DTD parking, but there may be trams from there to DTD, not sure as I've never parked there.

Personally I'd go that way. You could be back to your hotel before a bus makes its' rounds and shows back up.

I always purchase my ART passes online, and have them mailed to me before my trip. I am 69, so I get a discount, which is greatly appreciated. I almost always stay at Dolphin's Cove, which is a long walk to the gates of Disneyland. It is very nice to know that I have a ride back to my hotel, after walking all day in the parks. You can buy single day tickets, as well as 3 day tickets, and 5 day tickets. Multiday tickets end up costing less per day. If you google Anaheim Rapid Transit online, they explain the ordering process quite nicely. They always include a very informative ART brochure with your tickets when they mail them to you.
