Question about the Aladdin show

Planning on going to DCA to catch Aladdin one last time. Asking those who keep track of such things - what time of day is best to catch lower attendance at the show? What time should I be there to get a sort of middle, orchestra seat (not in front). Is that best? Or would front mezzanine be better?

I don't know how long before a show you need to show up and get in line to get the spot you want but if it were me I would go for one of the earlier shows of the day or at least not the last show. We saw it last week and saw the last show of the day. I don't know if Aladdin was having an off day or was feeling sick or if it was because it had been a long day but he had absolutely no energy and it really effected the entire show. Again, I'm not sure if it was because it was the last show of the day but I would you try for an earlier show if I could.

We always try to see the first or second show of the day. You never know when a show may get canceled.
On our trip in October, we were in line and they announced the show was being canceled.
We were disappointed but we were able to catch a show later before our trip was over.

Don't wait until the last minute to see Aladdin on a trip.

Well, it's not really a "trip", we're local. So we can pretty much go anytime during the day, I was just curious whether earlier or middle or later in the day would be better (not as crowded).

Anyone else want to chime in with their thoughts on what time of day/how early to get there?

Honestly, they will probably all be pretty close to full. Orchestra will often fill up at least 15 minutes before show time, at which point they open the balcony. On slow, off season days (very rare this year) earlier might be better, especially on a 10am opening
