Question about TEVA Mush

Hey Mush Owners, do you feel like your TEVA Mush shoes get more comfortable after they've been "broken in?" I bought some yesterday, and they're comfy, but not like I was hoping, so I"m wondering if wearing them for a week would make a dif. Thanks!

Definitely!! And I doubt it will take a week...with each pair I've purchased, they've been fully "indented" by the end of a weekend! The straps loosen up a little and the foam foot bed wears into the shape of your foot. Love them!! (as a caveat...I HATED flip flops before I bought these...I could never stand the feeling of anything between my toes, but these are amazing!)

I am glad you asked this question! I was about to send my Mush's back. They fit my foot length wise, but the straps felt a little snug and I felt like my foot was up high in the air. :-P I got them for a deal ($12) so based on this thread I will haul them out of the box and give another go.

Thanks!

They will mold to your feet. I love mine. That's all I wore in Orlando last spring. I still wear them, but I like Crocs flip flops a little better.

Love, love, love my Teva Mush. They're the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I have a pair that have made five trips to WDW and they're the ones I usually wind up in (better than all my Crocs and my Teva Olawahus). They've finally gotten broken down too much in the heel though, so I went the other day and bought another pair. I'm surprised to hear others are having to break theirs in though. With both pairs, mine were comfortable from the time I slipped them on.

I found a pair online for $11 so I thought I'd give them a try...they are pretty comfy, more so than those cute but totally flat and unsupportive Old Navy flip flops!

Normally I HATE things between my toes, but these have a fabric toe post as opposed to most that have the plastic. I think these might be the flip flops I can wear for park trekking!! Woohoo!! I also got a pair of Crocs Niles for $15 so I had to try those too...I'm diggin them for the most part...but I am still and will always be a loyal birkenstock wearer!!! princess: :wizard:

I've been wearing my Teva Mush flip flops for days, just loving how totally comfortable they are...very squishy and cushion-y...but yesterday after running around all day...lots of walking...by the end of the day my feet, my hip and back were SCREAMING. I was in so much pain. I'm only 26 years old by the way!! I couldn't believe it! But I realized that as squishy and cushiony as the Teva Mush is, it isn't really very supportive. It does have an arch insert which is great and probably helpful for normal wear, but after a day of walking walking walking...the Teva Mush just didn't cut it for me. I realized that I will be going straight back to my Birkenstocks, apologize profusely to them for straying and hope that they will continue to be supportive fabulous sandals! ;) :rotfl: Serioulsy though, I can wear birks all day, tromp all over the world and never feel a thing in my back!

So a word of warning...for those of you who are initially seduced by the squishy foot bed of the Teva Mush, beware that you may be sorry after a really hard day of walking. princess: :wizard:
