question about swim diapers from Babies R Us

Ok, so I didn't want to add to the ongoing and ongoing and ongoing debate about toddlers and swim diapers, and I got tired of reading the arguements; so I gave up on finding this answer on that thread. I bought DD2 two swim diapers today from Babies R Us today. They look like a 2 piece swimsuit. But they are definitely called swim diapers, and it even says on the tag "no other diaper needed." My question is this: How will the resort staff know they are official swim diapers since they just look like swimsuits? Will I have to show any kind of proof? Wondering if maybe I should keep the tag to show?

I have never heard a lifeguard question anyone at Disney. My dd was potty trained the entire summer last year (she was 2), wore just swimsuits with no swim diaper of any kind and I was never questioned as to why she didn'at have anything on - this was at the local pool, the YMCA, the amusement park we go to with water park, a regular water park and Disney.

Can you show the edge of the diaper under the suit? I used that type of swim suit for my son last year and no one ever asked me if he was wearing a dipe - but since his were the tight-fitting thingie under the trunks, I could easily show the diaper part underneath.

No, it is all made together (meaning the lining or whatever is actually made as part of the bottoms).

I don't think anyone will question you--especially at Disney. And if they do, ust simply tell them that it is an approved swim diaper. I wouldn't worry so much.

It's funny, we have this ongoing "fight" at our town pool about who causes the accidents in the main pool. They make so many rules for the babies--"can wear this, can't wear that"...I can tell you this, I am up at the baby pool all day long and have been for 5 years now and have never once seen a toddler or baby have an accident in the pool. I have a sneeky suspision that it's older kids being silly...It's going to be a long summer.

I just bought these same swim diapers from babies-r-us for use at WDW. I was planning on using them w/o diapers under as the directions say that no other diaper is needed.
