We have about $100 in SWA credit b/c we switched our return flight due to adding an extra day. It expires mid Sept. At the time, I didn't know that you had to fly by the expiration. I thought it was just book flights by then. Now I know we have to fly by Sept to use the credit. We will not be flying anywhere until Feb & I know it's not worth the cost of paying to extend it.
So, I wanted to see if this was a possible option so I don't lose the credit. What if I book a flight to be flown b4 Sept using the credit, but then cancel it? Will the credit I used now have a new expiration date or will it automatically go back to the Sept date?
