Question about stroller rentals?

Hope everyone is well! we are going on our family trip in two weeks my question is, when you rent a stroller is it a whole day rental? we plan on taking an afternoon break and then returning two hours later...do we have to pay again for the stroller? thanks in advance.

Yes, it is for the whole day. Just keep your receipt and your name card for the stroller and when you come back you can just show it to the stroller attendant and they will give you another one.

Also, I notice that in the late afternoon/evening when we return, this usually isn't an issue, because there always are many abandoned strollers in the pramanade area. I make sure it does not belong to anyone and then put my name card in the top and away we go (of course I still have my receipt). It does depend on when you go as to where the strollers are. During peak seasons they move the stroller rental area to in-between the two parks in a temproary tent thingy.

I don't have the link, but the card is through Chase bank. Their website should work.

No, there are no double strollers for rent at DLR. However, you can get up to two free strollers with your Disney Visa. I realize that isn't the same as having a double, but we never minded pushing two strollers - especially when they were free.

I have no need for yet another credit card..heh...especially one that limits my rewards to merchant points.

I will probably just go the purchase/return route.

Uh, this is the CA Disneyland board- there are only 2 parks. Were you looking for the WDW board?

ITA Linda, I'm sitting here in bewilderment that anyone would actually do that. I would think the time/effort it would take to buy it and return it would cost more in the long run then just paying for the rental.

Why not just get the Disney card and not use it except to get the free strollers then cancel it when you get home?

Anyway, it was very easy to get one free with the Disney card, you just show them your card and give them your info and off you go. Very easy.

I couldn't find my pictures, we have them stored away at the moment, but the strollers are plastic, and have a canapy over to shade. All I can remember about storage space was a net pocket-like thing across the back. If you get teh double strollers, however, you should have enough room for a child to sit next to the bag.
