Question about splash pool at WH townhouses

For a trip Jan/Feb, will the splash pool be usable when heated? I was only looking at the townhouses because the idea of a splash pool seems awesome, but if my cold-blooded kids are going to freeze in even a heated pool, should I consider the condos to widen my options? I'm afraid I'm going to regret not getting the splash pool, but I'm worried about paying more for it and then not enjoying it because it's chilly outside. Silly thought or legitimate?

We have stayed at Windsor Hills a bunch of times. Sometimes in condos and sometimes in rental homes. The main pool at the clubhouse is heated and when we went a few weeks ago saw kids swimming even though the air was VERY chilly. This was our first time staying in a townhouse there and I didnt love it! The splash pools are super tiny. I am sure if they were heated it would be usable but other than the convenience, it just didnt look like a place to have fun.

When I stayed in a Windsor Hills townhouse, the pool water was actually a little too warm in November. I don't know if that was because the pool was so small. I paid for heat and the rental company forgot to turn it on. The first day after they turned it on, the water was nice. The next day, the temperature was actually a little warmer than I would have liked, and I hate cold water. My kids really liked having their own little pool right outside the living room door.
