Question about skin cream (best budget brand for fine lines and sun damage)

I've been seeing a lot of commercials and ads for creams that are supposed to fade lines and even your skin color and remove spots due to sun/aging.
I'm 35 so I've got the start of some laugh lines and crows feet and would like a cream that helps this, but the biggest thing is I need a cream that will help remove some dark spots due to acne, and sun damage. I like wearing very minimal or no makeup in the summer, but my age is starting to creep up on me and I need some help.

When I was a teen we baked ourselves in the sun for hours, even rubbing butter on ourselves so we would get darker.:lmao: We never even thought of the damage we were doing. So because of this I have some freckles (sun spots) on my cheeks. In the last several years I don't leave the house without my moisturizer with SPF,:thumbsup2 which has really helped prevent further damage, but I would like to find something to fix the damage already done. I don't want to go extreme and have any kind of peel or anything done,:scared1: and I don't want to pay $100 a bottle for something.:scared1::scared1:

Has anyone tried any of the less expensive creams for these problems, that have actually worked for you.:confused3 Also, if there are any that I just need to stay away from and not waste my money, I would appreciate that info too. Thanks!:thumbsup2

You can try out this this serum at Sally's Beauty Supply for $11 ($10 for Beauty Club members). It gets rave reviews for having the same potency of a lot of similar (and pricey ;)) department store brands.

I would suggest coconut oil....you can get a jar for between $6-12 at most healthfood stores or grocery stores. It improves the connective tissue of the skin. I have only used coconut oil as an all over body moisturizer for almost 3yrs now and my skin has never looked or felt better. I use it to take off my eye makeup too and in the winter use it on my face as a moisturizer. I use it on my scalp and hair too, put it on at night and put a towel on my pillow and wash it out in the morning. This is also the only thing I use on my ds6 who has eczema and it's the only thing that has never burned when he's having a flare up.
