Question about shopping at Disneyland! (Hotel: Davy Crockett Ranch)

Hi everyone!!

We are slowly planning exactly what we want to do while we spend our 5 days at Disneyland. We have already decided that we want to do the tea party with the characters...but now I'm thinking about shopping!

I read that there is a service for those staying at disneyland hotels that their purchases can be sent to their room for them, rather than lugging the stuff around all day. Does anyone know if this applies to the Davy Crockett Ranch too?

Yes it applies to DCR as well as we used this service at Christmas and had stuff sent back there. You collect it from the shop at DCR that evening.
You have to buy things before a certain time though- think its 3.00 to get them delivered

Do make sure you tell the shop assistant as soon as you get to the till. If you leave it till they've rung it through it';s more work for them & they aren't happy!

I love that service ... it amazes my hubby how I seem to browse and have no shopping until it comes to packing to come home ... little does he know about that fabby service

Yeah. Shopping is a fun in Disney-land.

We had great shopping there, when we lasted last time.

Ooooh I didn't know about this "service"! I've always told the kids that they can only buy something smallish as I don't really want to lug it around - either that, or buy something at the end of the day (and the shops are always so packed then). Now that I know about this shopping service... oh dear...

It's really handy although maybe not so much for the bank balance and if you do miss the cut-off time for that day your items will be delivered the next day.

I always tell the wife that despite knowing about this service, I find it helps keep her shopping under control
