Question about Sci-Fi Dine In

We've only eaten at Sci-Fi Dine In for lunch and have never had dinner there before. For our trip in March 2012, we are planning to get to DHS later in the afternoon and would probably end up eating dinner there.

I looked at the menu on allears.net and noticed there isn't a hamburger on the dinner menu (we just wanted simple hamburger and shakes). It's just on the lunch menu. Can anyone who've been there recently tell me if there's a hamburger for dinner there? Thanks very much!!!

Also, are there any other good places for a hamburger at DHS?

Last time I went for dinner it was not on the menu, but I asked my server if I could order it and she said yes! That was 2 years ago, so not sure about doing that now.

We really wanted to eat at Sci-Fi (a tradition) for burgers and shakes (another tradition). Didn't really know what to do if we couldn't eat there.

There appears to be an entirely new menu posted on the official Disney world website. It seems they changed to a combined dinner and lunch menu - there is also more than one burger now. Link is below

Holy beep! This must be brand new! I was at sci fi literally 4 weeks ago and this wasnt available. Nice variety, and its nice to see they have burgers at dinner now! They FINALLY caught on! Great post Jennifer!

Hi Christine...maybe they got a lot of off-the-menu burger requests at dinner. Makes sense to add the burgers to the menu. The place seems to be more of a burgers/fries/shakes kind of restaurant to me, given its "drive-in" theme.

I know right??? Its a drive in afterall. Why wouldnt they put burgers on the dinner menu?? LOL!

No problem. Glad I could help! My husband is picky so I am constantly looking at menus making sure there is something he'll eat. 50s PT also changed their menu.

Am I the only one bummed? I have a SERIOUS issue with burgers... the cheese! MUST. BE. AMERICAN! I don't know why, and the YELLOWER the better, but burgers with swiss or cheddar just don't cut it for me.

I wonder if they keep any American cheese on hand....

hotdog + hamburger patty? What would that taste like??? I thought that was a typo on the menu.
