Question about scheduling times to do Princess gathering and Frozen Meet/Greet

This will be the first time we have had to get tickets in advance to both the Princess Gathering and the Frozen Meet and Greet. I see that they are set 15 minutes apart. Does this mean we get to spend 15 minutes at the event or is this just the time we are suppose to arrive? I wanted to schedule both events for my daughter, but am wondering how close together I can set the ticket times? How long would I need to leave open between each event? Right now, we are signed up for a 9:15 Frozen meet and a 10:00 Princess Gathering. Can I manage them both in less time? Trying to set them up earlier in the day so we can go to the Pool when we are finished.

We did both as well. If you are signed up for the 9:15 Frozen meet and greet, they will most likely let you in a few minutes early and then you stand in line and wait your turn to meet them and have your pictures taken. You don't actually get 15 minutes interacting with the characters, more like 2-3 minutes by the time you get your pictures taken and such. You could probably make the princess gathering a little earlier if the system will allow you to do that but please note that they might be on different ends of the ship so allow some time to get to the other location. I know when I was scheduling them, it would not allow us to schedule them too close together because the system thought that we were overlapping activities. The princess gathering took more time because there were three princesses and we met with them separately and had our pictures taken. You may have some time in between if you stick with the 9:15 and 10:00 a.m. times but it won't be too bad.

Which Princesses did you get to see? On both of our other cruises, we met with 6 princesses. Hope my daughter is not disapppointed this time. Seems to be set up more like the meet and greets at WDW now.

I am sure it depends on what ship you are on but in November on the Magic, we saw Belle, Cinderella and Sophia. They were all in the atrium and you met one at a time and then moved on to the next one. For the Frozen meet and greet, Elsa, Anna and Olaf all greeted together.

Especially since you are so early in the morning, you will probably have some time in between. We put our two 45 minutes a part because we didn't know how much delay there would be or how fart a part in distance the two places would be. For us, on the Fantasy, the Princesses were in the main atrium and the Frozen sisters were in the animator's pallet on the same level, but at the back of the ship. 5 minutes walk max. We showed up promptly for our Princess slot (maybe a little early) and could have made a Frozen time if it started 15 minutes after. As it was, we had a few minutes to use, so we got pictures with Captain Hook and Minnie Mouse, who were near by and had only small lines. So it worked out, but yes, it cut into our "pool time" more than it had to.
