Question about roominess of a standard suv

Hello!

I'm still debating whether to rent an SUV or a Minivan. If we rent a standard SUV would we have room for 4 adults, 1 baby in a carseat, 4 large suitcases and 4 small suitcases? The only time we'd need all the luggage in the car is on our way back to the airport. My parents are arriving to Florida a couple of days after us, so we'll go pick them up and the trunk will only need to hold their stuff. Could we get all that in there to get back to the airport?

In January, we rented a Buick Rendezvous. We had 4 normal sized adults plus my twig 13 y/o dd. The only time it was a tight squeeze was on the way back to the airport with all the luggage, but it was doable.
