Hi Experts! This may be a weird question, but I know someone out there can help me.

In the past we have always stayed at the Disneyland Hotel on a package, so it seems like we have gotten one key card that's a room key and park ticket combined. Am I remembering that correctly?

This visit I have an AP, so we booked the room separately from the tickets. My husband and two teenage boys don't have APs so they have five-day park hoppers.

Now the question. Since we'll all need to show both the key and the ticket for some things (early entry, etc.), is there a way to get the park hopper tickets onto the room keys for the three guys so that they don't have to worry about keeping track of two separate things? Can that be done at the hotel? Just seems like one less thing to worry about.

Thanks!!

No, you aren't remembering correctly. That is true at WDW, but at DL your room key has always been separate from your park ticket. Your room key does allow you to charge back to the room though, should you wish.

Thanks Jamie -- We go to WDW often as well and our last trip was there rather than DLR so I guess I got them mixed up!

I do remember charging to the room and I also remember showing our room key to get on the monorail for early entry, so I must just be having a senior moment!
