Question about rides and large people

Greetings!

My family and I are planning our first trip to WDW and I was curious if large people can fit on the rides. Any ride suggestions? I am afraid after waiting one or two hours for a ride, I'll get up there and not be able to fit in the seat!

Buzzlady - Thank you, thank you, thank you. I may be "Mickey Minded" buy I'm "Pooh Sized". This site really put my fears to rest! It's so much better having an idea of what you're getting into before you actually get there!

My husband and I are Pooh sized as well. We were able to ride all of the rides, though not always comfortably. My biggest concern were the rides with the lap bar when I had 4 yr old DD with me. I was able to hold onto her since none of the rides were dangerously fast. Dumbo was a tight squeeze but ultimately doable.
At WDW size doesn't matter!!

I'm more worried that your going to wait one or two hours for a ride! IMHO there is no reason to wait that kind of time, maybe half an hour at the most. If you use fast pass, and get to the parks early, or ride at quieter times (like during parades etc), then you shouldn't have to wait unreasonable lengths of time.

It also helps to find out which are the busy days in each park - I know that MK is very busy on Saturday and Mondays - we found out about Mondays by mistake - it was heaving! So, we left and went to Epcot, came back to MK on Tuesday and it was like a different park, much quieter and shorter lines.
