Question about Richard Petty Driving Experience...

There won't be enough time on our upcoming trip for my husband to do this, but can anyone drive over to the track and do they have a gift shop there?

Yes, you can drive over there. You will actually drive under the track into the infield. We went over to check it out last November and watched the cars. There is a small shop to buy souveniers. Like the true hillbillies we are, we purchased used racing tires. There is also a small set of bleachers in the shade to sit and watch. Have fun.

Yes you can. There is a shuttle bus from TTA that you can take, or park on the south side of the MK parking lot and walk. It is between the Poly and MK.

Good thing my husband doesn't read this forum. I had to talk him out of buying one at the Atlanta Motor Speedway last year.
