Question about reservations

We (DH, DS5, DS2, and myself) are going to WDW the first week in March for DH's conference which is at the Swan/Dolphin. So, we are staying at one of those resorts. Can we get the dining plan if we stay at the Swan/Dolphin? Also, DH's employer is paying for the hotel and his meals. We have to pay for park tickets and meals for me and the kids. Is there any way we can purchase a package (hotel, dining, and tickets) and pay for it with 2 different payers?

I don't think you can get the dining plan.

Sorry, the previous poster is correct. You can't get the dining plan if you're not staying at a Disney Resort.

Unfortunately, the Swan and Dolphin are not Disney-owned resorts, and therefore, are not included in Dining Plan. The way Disney has set things up, packages are tied to the resort reservation, so there is no way to split things up if you're staying on your dh's employers dime, at a non-Disney resort. We have used undercovertourist.com in the past to get some good deals on tickets for ourselves and my parents. I would recommend them. There are also some other tips on how to save $ on passes on that page.
