Question about resale

Currently I own 180 points. I was looking to buy another 75 to 100 points. Not sure if I want to buy from disney or resale. If i want to go on a world passport and my stay will cost me 200 points would I be able to use my resale points?

Yes you would be able to use resale points for World Passport.

However, you would be better off buying resale (not from developer) timeshare and/or renting a different timeshare system (Wyndham/Worldmark/Hilton/Starwood/Marriot and etc....)for trades/vacations outside of WDW/DVCs.
