Question about reducing # of guests in a room and the dining plan

We are renting points for a stay at BWV. At the time the ressie was booked for us, it was a party of 5. We just found out a couple of days ago that one person is dropping out of the trip. We are currently booked on the dining plan.

My question is this - can we just tell them there's only 4 of us at check-in and then only pay for 4 dining plans? Or must we do this before we arrive? I ask because I don't want to keep bothering the person we're renting from about things that we can handle on our own.

It is their responsibility to handle these details for you, don't feel that you are bothering them. They chose to rent out their points and they should be willing to do the legwork that is involved with that.

I *believe* that you must do it before. I think if you arrive and still want to purchase the dining plan you will end up paying for the five people unless you change the names on the ressie before. I could be wrong though, but if I were you I'd rather be safe than sorry - I'm sure the person you rented from will happily change it for you.

I couldn't agree more. When you reserve thru CRO you can call often as you please to inquire. Your renter is your CRO. Therefore you should feel free to call and ask any questions you have. Remember you are the customer.

Make the change before arrival. You can get it fixed after, but, it is a hassle and time consuming! I know, I did it.
