We had planned on staying at the Radisson the night before and using thier transportation.

Is this going to be a big hassle??

Do they have regular pick up on the day your cruise returns ... or will we have to wait.

The plan is to drive ALL DAY and stay overnight at the Radisson, park there and use the shuttle.

However, if the shuttle thing is going to be a hassle ..... we will probably stop sooner and finish our drive the day of the cruise....so I need some advice.

Thanks

Both the Radisson and Avis at the Radisson use 15-passenger vans... which hold less than 15 passengers when you take luggage considerations into account. The Radisson asks that you make a reservation for a specific shuttle time.

What you may want to consider... since you'll have your car... is to drop everybody and your luggage off at the port. Then you drive back to the Radisson, park the car, and then hop on a shuttle. One person without luggage would have no problem getting on either the Radisson or the Avis shuttle. And your family will have no problem checking seperately from you.

Since you also mentioned maybe stopping earlier... yes, you might want to book a room at Daytona Beach and then drive the rest of the way down the next morning. And then just park at the port. This is probably the easiest option. Just be aware that there's a long, desolate stretch of highway between Daytona Beach and Titusville with no services at the exits, so if you don't stop at Daytona, your next option to stop will be Titusville, and by then you'll be so close you might as well continue on to the port.
