Question about printing DL tickets at home...

I'm going to purchase our DL park hopper passes from the DL website and print them at home but I'm wondering if we will still get the plastic ones when we get there or do they use the ones we print to let us in the park. I'm just wanting to be prepared if I have to go to the ticket booth before entering the park. Also if I do have to get them from the ticket booth can I do it the day before we actually go to the park, our first day will be Monday can I pick them up on Sunday if I have to get the plastic ticket?

You do not have to go to the ticket booths if you print your tickets at home. Just go to the entry gates and they will exchange your printout for a regular ticket at the turnstyle. The ticket they give you can be used in the fast pass machines.

You won't get a plastic ticket though, it will be sturdy paper. We turned our papers in and they gave us sturdy paper 5-day passes and they held up in the FP machines the whole time.

Definitely don't waste your time going to the ticket booths, just go right up to the turnstiles! It's very slick.
